Uniforms • Best way to dye a flight suit a different color?

I'm looking to dye a tru-spec flight suit a shade of red for a cosplay. Any suits that come red aren't the shade I want, or don't match for screen accuracy.

I'm aware most flight suits are poly cotton, and I've read that procion mx dye can work for that type of material.

Any other ideas or ways of going about it?
