I keep wondering what’s happening with the animated series. It was announced almost 3 years ago at this point, and I know the tactical answer is “well it takes time”
But let’s compare to new animated Stranger Things, announced last Spring and due this spring (2026) with a title and splash screen in tact (Tales from 85)
I make the comparison because both cartoons are being developed by Netflix.
We don’t even have a title card yet for our beloved Ghostbusters cartoon. That’s some slow progress if you ask me.
Sure hope the WB mergers with them and Netflix didn’t get in the way of development due to IP rights crossing paths.
