Hello all,
I am recently becoming active again in Ghostbusting and I wanted to respectfully put some feelers out there to the Colorado busters.
A little about me, I was active in the 2012-2015...ish (I think) time period in Colorado mainly suiting up and joining the Denver Ghostbusters during their movie car events with their Ecto-1 and just being a awkward teenager. Ghostbusters and trooping was a huge source of joy for me, although I was made fun of and looked at as a odd ball in high school. I went on to work and help a local builder with Proton Pack fabrication, and from there did a little more special effects work before I joined the military and left ghostbusting behind me. After the military, I went to college and got a degree in medical imaging. Now that I am "adulting" I realize how much I miss going out and trooping as a Ghostbuster. I had met some people back in the day; some left, some moved, some I just completely lost touch with. I hope all these people are doing well and still at it.
With that all being said I am curious to how the Colorado community is doing right now? Are there any active franchises? If not is there any desire to start a new franchise? I think it would be fun to join or start a humble group of busters with no egos and just a love for Ghostbusters. If there isn't any active groups I would love to start a franchise back up in Colorado were we can focus on fun and community. I think it would be fun to get a Colorado group going that focuses on fun, inclusivity, support, and events.
If there are still active groups out here, I mean absolutely no disrespect by saying I am interested in starting a franchise out here and I hope you reach out![Smile :)]()
I don't know how active these forums are at this time but I will be here hoping to hear back from some Colorado Ghost-heads soon.
Respectfully
-John
