I have had the 5 volume Real Ghostbusters Firehouse set (though I only ever watched up to Volume 3 since Volume 3 was not available in stores at the time) since 2009 but, I always hated it cutting to the Ghost Busters Logo saying, "We'll be right back after these messages." I myself never got as a kid in the 90s why they even put those into the show as if kids like me didn't know there'd be advertisements. I have always found it annoying when watching Real Ghostbusters on these DVDs. When I was a kid I had 7 episodes of Real Ghostbusters on VHS. We could not afford more tapes of it and we did not have cable since we lived out in the country where there is not very many affordable options.
Those VHS tapes we bought with those episodes did not have that Ghostbusters sign saying, "We'll be right back after these Messages." Said episodes were The Revenge of Murray the Mantis, Drool the Dogfaced Goblin, Ghostbuster of the year, Night Game, Lost and Foundry, Bird of Kildarby, and Cry Uncle. I get some people might have nostalgia for this logo announcing there was about to be ads but I have always found it annoying. No, I do not want to spend over $100 getting the episodes of the first 3 volumes before Lorenzo Music was fired on amazon. I am somewhat content. But seeing that logo saying there will be advertisements has always been annoying to me. What about you?
