Very much with MrMichaelT on this one too. I found stuff to enjoy, and I found Dead Man’s Chest livelier than Back In Town, but still… the IDW stuff once Erik, Dan and Luis were in charge was just non-stop joy. I never had to find stuff to enjoy, it was just great. The Dark Horse stuff shows promise, but it’s such a step back it does feel quite disheartening.
Rather like Aliens moving to Marvel from (ironically) Dark Horse, it does feel like Ghostbusters lost a bit of its soul in the move.
