I already posted I would have had Ray, Phoebe and Podcast be more of the focus since they were the ones left out of everything. In addition to the library, hang out the firehouse, go on unofficial calls, etc.It didn’t occur to me but you’re right. Ray, Phoebe, podcast focus would have been awesome!
About child labor and Peck being right...just wanted to say there’s 2 kids at one of my local grocery stores that help out and bag stuff. I’d say they’re like 11 or 12 years old. Maybe younger. It’s been about a year. It really surprised me at first cause I thought is this allowed?
Still a little awkward when they’ve offered to help me with my food. Haha. I’m always polite though. They seem happy to be working. I guess it’s fine since it’s pretty basic work. You have to assume cops and such have gone in and seen them. It’s not a secret.
Phoebe and podcast were the best part of AL and it’s stupid they didn’t build on that and instead build a relationship between Phoebe and what’s-her-face. Dumb move.
Podcast and ray were a fun combo I’d love to see more of that. Ray, despite being a genius, never had an ego and so his old man relationship with Podcast and Pheobe is a really fun dynamic where he views them as equals. Hes not an older fella talking down to kids or whatnot. What a shame and waste of Podcast. The kid looked like a great up and comer in AL.
I’d also disagree with some others here that say pheobe shouldn’t be a main focus. She’s the most badass character of this new era. She’s a rising star and does great in her role despite being just a kid. She’s the face of Ghostbusters’s if you ask me. She’s the new bill murray.
Sure we all love Paul Rudd but in the context of ghostbusters I don’t think there should be a big shift to him as the star.
