That’s been how I’ve thought Sony might continue GB.
I don’t think we are going to see a live action GHOSTBUSTERS in a looong time and when we do, I don’t think it’ll be a movie. It’ll be a TV show. That’s just the way the wind is blowing.
I think Sony will be looking at The Mandalorian movie very closely. Yes it’s Star Wars. But it’s a continuation of something started on TV. There will be some data here they can plug into their economy of scale formula. “So if Star Wars did this number at this price we can expect something like X number at X price”.
