It might be safer to leave it at home.

There's a famous story (I forget if it's fake or true, it's a bit of a legend now) about a person who tried to take a Proton Pack replica onto a flight with them to America, and it ended up causing a security incident at their destination airport because the TSA agents thought it was a bomb.

As I said, I forget if the story is legit or an urban legend, but in these uncertain and unpredictable times it might be safer to go without the Trap at the con just in case someone in airport security in the United States doesn't recognise it as a prop replica from Ghostbusters.

I appreciate you want to have it as part of your gear for the convention, and not having it would be disappointing... But it may be better to err on the side of caution, rather than risk something as expensive and as hard to replace as the HasLab Trap.
