I ended up using a combo method of sewing the hose connector onto my suit using embroidering thread (a little thicker) and then also using some JB Weld to glue in some smaller neodymium magnets into the cone of the hose connector inside, and then I placed some neodymium magnets into the the end of the hose to place into the hose connector. I know it's going to snag, but I allowed the hose connector & the hose to dry and harden separately. I also sanded up the hose end that feeds into the connector, and I also put some JB Weld on so that I can easily slide it into the hose connector. When it's fully inserted, you don't see the JB Weld at all.
I know I'm going to snag the hose on something... but with the thicker threads holding on the hose connector onto my suit, and the magnets holding onto the hose so it stays connected, this is the best of both worlds. If the hose gets ripped out, it's fine. I plug it back in & the magnets keep it from coming out very nicely. If I'm getting out of a vehicle and it snags on something, it will tug on the hose, but it won't rip the hose connector off my suit, the magnets keep a nice secure grab... but it also will allow it to pull apart if need be & won't cause damage when it's pulled apart inevitably.
I'll have to grab some photos of what I ended up doing in hopes that it may provide some insight or ideas for others to do as well, that is, if they ever have this issue come up & need/want some suggestions. Thank you, @Everyone who has commented on it thus far.![Smile :)]()
