Ghost Traps • Question about adding GBFans plates to Haslab trap

Am I supposed to leave out the spring that originally was under the large (tear drop) side knob? It feels super loose without it, but I don't really see how to add it back with the adapter. Instructions would be super helpful.

EDIT:the instructions were right there. I'm an idiot. I wish there was a delete post option.
