I don't know for certain it's gaffer tape, but that's definitely what it looks like to me.I *believe* Ben Eady said something about "Military Tape" which I don't know the difference between Military tape and Gaff Tape, I do know that you need to spend money on Gaff Tape to get the stuff that won't die the death of cheap gaff tape, I've seen cheap tape dry out or otherwise lose its special-ness within a few months.
