The parts look metal only because I used a shiny silver filament.( Ziro silky PLA) It isn't very strong, but looks great!Got my set of hubs printed... They do look fantastic!
Unfortunately, the supports got a little overzealous, and filled up the threaded hole on top, so I've got a reprint going that's only supporting critical regions, and is lightened up a bit. (I followed your 35% infill recommendation, but went for 6 outer walls to increase strength... They feel a little too beefy, so I slimmed them down to 3 walls.
