So yesterday, I attended a local comic-con in full gear. I brought my Haslab PKE meter and ghost trap for the first time since received. I did purchase a pair of military pistol belt suspenders (Amazon), b/c I knew the trap and holster would be heavy. I also wore my Haslab pack - no problem there.
Wearing nearly 5 pounds combined weight on my waist was not easy.
The trap will make a nice display piece if you're a part of a GB cosplay group, but not for walking around a con!
Unless you're okay with the extra 5 or so pounds of extra weight, at least invest in a pair or two of military pistol belt suspenders!
Disclosure: I've been dealing with sciatica in my lower back for 20+ years, but I tend to cope just fine wearing the Haslab pack for about an hour or two at a time, and then take breaks. However, when I'm with my GB groups (Ecto Force Florida and Magic City Ghostbusters) I always leave my gear at our table attended by one of our other members with no issues.
