One thing I don’t see get commented here too much is how effective the musics in Extreme Ghostbusters is. It’s really good. There’s a few hints of Elmer’s score here and there. The piano riff. .
I also LOVE the hard rock grungy very 90s theme. It’s really good. As a kid when I would watch this and the song would hit the part where we see the canisters getting jammed in, the needles red lining, boy did I get excited.
Unfortunately as is the case of far too many kids tv shows, I don’t think there was a score created PER episode. More likely there was a suite of cues written and the editors had to stick the music in to fit the episode. I do remember a few cues that seem to be specific to episodes. The Pied Piper Ghost. He had a very eerie theme. I think the leprechaun episode also had specific cues I think. Does anyone know if I’m incorrect here?
