Hi, all. I bought what I thought was an Elite Ecto-1 from eBay. I haven't opened it because it's a sealed box, so I can't be sure what's inside, but the box art is odd.
From what I understood, the Elite came in a black box with the "Hot Wheels Elite" logo on it and the car's name in red. The cheaper Heritage version came in a red box with the standard Hot Wheels logo and the car's name in white. What I've got here is a black box with the standard logo and the name in white. O_o
It was sold as an Elite, but the photos on the box don't have the level of detail I'd expect. So what do I have here? If it's not an Elite in there I'm going to have to open a dispute... I’ve been scouring the internet for hours and I can’t find any reference to this. Is it a re-issue?
