I really like that! Nice find! The real quick connectors were made by a company called Hansen. I own a few real probes and they use a specific model number. I actually own a couple of real connectors too if anyone is interested. They no longer make them and I paid a premium of like $20 a piece. They are the correct size and model and are even properly barbed for inserting into the hose.
The only difference is they are brass not stainless. Actually one of the probes I have uses the brass not stainless, fun fact. I could not find these anywhere, ended up getting them awhile back from a surplus. I haven't tried painting them but I also think you can foil wrap them. If anyones interested hit me up, I'll try to check my messages once in awhile here.
The ones you found seem to have a screw in end piece but honestly I am glad you shared these. GREAT FIND AND PRICE!
