I have been working on tracking down and purchasing various books seen in Rays Occult. I was able to locate and purchase Flying Saucers are Hostile and Strangers from the Skies. However I have hit a wall looking for Ghost of Stonehenge.
Zooming into a different shot one can make out the “author” as Persephone Chapman.
I have searched high and low for over a week and have turned up empty handed. I have also gone as far as to search through theses and dissertations on OATD thinking it might be an academic work. Still, no luck.
I was talking this over with another buster and he pointed out that the “Author’s” name might hold some significance. No works have come up under the name Persephone Chapman.
The recently deceased cinematographer for Ghostbusters 2 was Michael Chapman, and Persephone is of course the queen of the underworld in Greek mythology.
Is this book perhaps a hidden tribute to Michael Chapman? Would the production go through the trouble to make a book that only shows up on screen for a few seconds?
I will continue to search.
