Found some new exterior photos from Brooks + Scarpa's Instagram account from the installing of some of the new I-columns to earthquake-proof Fire Station №23. The date they were posted was the 9th of April, suggesting some of the installation work happened around that time:

Having been through many transitions, we are excited to share that the new steel moment-frame is being constructed! You may be wondering how to get a 3-story steel moment-frame into a very narrow, one of the first reinforced concrete buildings built in the early 1900s…..well, you go through the Hay Loft, of course!
*
When it opened, it was staffed by fifteen firefighters and ten horses. The original equipment included a horse wagon, chief's buggy, and a pumper that used a vertical tube boiler.
*
When it opened, it exceeded the budget so much it was called the "Taj Mahal" of firehouses ($35,000 was the original budget..came in at $53,000)
-The steel isn't being lowered in through the Hay Loft though, it's being lowered in through the Hose Tower (where the Proton Packs were stored in Frozen Empire.
