Hey everyone! Spending a few weeks exploring this site has been extremely rewarding; the conversations have been fantastic! Before joining, all my GB searches had been for props and action figures, so it was a welcome surprise when GB fans popped up. This is undoubtedly the place to meet others whose lives were changed by Ghostbusters!
Speaking of, my earliest GB memory was as a 6-year-old at daycare. The teacher gave us kids a couple of options of what we could watch: He-Man (of which I was a fan) or something I'd never heard of before called Ghostbusters.
Being outvoted never felt so good.
Captivated by the first scene, when the movie was finished, I had no doubt that I wanted to be a Ghostbuster when I grew up. I told everybody, and in reply, adults would tell me Ghostbusting wasn't real.
