Grey elbow pads are done.
To Complete:
3 Pairs of Strictly Stability, White Volleyball Knee Pads For Boys or Girls purchased from Amazon.
1xRust-Oleum 2x Ultra Cover Winter Grey Gloss Spray Paint purchased from Bunnings Orange.
1xRust-Oleum 2x Ultra Cover Flat Black Spray Paint purchased from Bunnings Orange.
The work:
I tried dying the Volleyball knee pads with fabric dye from Spotlight, but the material only went a wierd green. Next tried was light grey fabric paint from Spotlight and the fabric rejected it. So (although I didn't want to), I had to purchase Rust-Oleum 2x ultra cover Winter Grey spray paint. Old water bottles were used to keep the pads standing while using the grey spray paint. This worked and it makes the fabric a little stiff but the color holds. I also masked off a square around the hole, to represent the black square just like in the first film and used the Rust-Oleum flat black.
